| Introduction | I was born in Texas, but my family moved me and my siblings all over the country constantly - not because we were military, but just because my parents liked to move a lot... always looking for something I suppose. I never stayed in one place very long until I moved to Arizona - where I lived for about 9 years and really got started singing and performing. Then, I moved to San Francisco where I started performing more. |

| Favorite music | Gospel music changed my life when I heard Helen Baylor sing "Look a Little Closer" for the first time. I was 12 years old, and it was playing on the radio at a time when I needed hope more than ever. I started listening to and singing along with many gospel artists: Tramaine Hawkins, LaShun Pace, Kirk Franklin. This really influenced me vocally and stylistically. |
