| Introduction | My name is Ashley Jennifer Stettler. Yes, I was born transgender. And yes, with all my heart I believe in, and am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In this blog I wish to share of my personal experiences with the gospel and try to explain to the best of my ability why I could never deny my faith, even though there is so much controversy out there between most transgender individuals and religion. What I hope to share here does not only pertain to transgender individuals, but to all of us as we search to understand who we are, where we are from, and what we are doing here. I simply wish to share what comes to my heart and mind, and if anything I share can touch someone's heart, I hope and pray that my words can find them. |
