| Introduction | Naima Yetunde Ince is a talented spoken word artist who has also flourished in the world of theater. Ince has a BA in Drama Studies. She attended SUNY Purchase College where she honed her theatrical skills with focuses as playwright, director and stage manager. Ince has developed significant accomplishments within the New York City area as a performance poet and is now concentrating on production and direction of theatrical works. Her recently staged one act play, Men Always Leave, successfully attests to an ambitious passion and talent. Ince is currently working on various staged productions, writing a new play entitled There Were Two Of Us in The Room, and a music album, Deliverance. She is also attending graduate school at Pratt Institute for a MPS in Arts and Cultural Management. When she is not working on developing a well-known name for her self in the drama world, she enjoys event planning, gatherings with friends and family and crocheting with her mother. Ince hopes to study and work in London and also tour the world creating performance art. |
