| Introduction | If you are reading this with your naked or optometrically corrected eye, please skip down to the section for sighted readers. I have placed you after the section for unsighted or low vision readers because it’s a real pain for us to try and skip around without getting lost in the ether. To my low vision and unsighted readers: Welcome! This is a blog written by a visually impaired cook—me—targeting other similarly-abled chefs. Hopefully it will entertain you as much as it has me so far. But also I’d like this to serve as a nexus for tips and techniques we have mutually discovered in the fine art of food preparation (preferably ones that don’t end in tears and shame). I have lived in St. Louis for 6 years. I intend to become so knowledgeable and powerful by working with all of you that I can not only feed myself, but serve an elegant and delicious dinner party.
