Introduction	I began painting when I was a child. At 13 years old, my uncle had me painting apartment buildings during the summer for extra money. In high school, I did ceramics and drawing. Later in college, I studied drawing and design. I have been painting for 50 years, oil painting for 20 of those years. I have a PhD in psychology and now enjoy painting on a full time basis. I am married with one son, Adam, who lives in LA. My love is impressionism including the French, Spanish and Russians. The early California Impressionists are also influential.
