Introduction	Lucas received his bachelor of fine arts in furniture design at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2005. Early on he developed a strong aesthetic for pure architectural elements: wood and metal in formal juxtaposition with an addition of contemporary grace. Important to Lucas's philosophy is reintroducing people to the art of craft and of craftsmanship in everyday objects - frequently compromised in the name of productivity. Being a Twin Cities area native means he is passionate about continued development local arts and crafts through education and integration.
