Introduction	After just one year working on a shipyard as a sixteen-year-old, Paul joined the Royal Air Force for 12 years. He immigrated to Canada in 1988. He has been married to his lovely bride since 1986 and they have 3 grown children. Having been in the aviation maintenance world since 1976, and gaining his Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Licence in 1991, Paul has enjoyed over fifty years in the world of aviation; and has seen ‘a thing or two’ along the way. As an aspiring writer, Paul has felt the time has come to go public with some of his writings. At times Paul’s writings may be profound, sometimes witty, and more often than not they afford the reader an opportunity to stop and think for a moment.
