| Introduction | In 2012 I retired from full-time work, turned my back on my beloved Cornwall and moved to the Forest of Dean. After more than 60 years in The Land of the Saints, I reckon to have seen most of it and I fancied a change. And a challenge too. I love walking and hiking, so the Forest is an ideal place in which to live, with its miles and miles of footpaths. Not far away, the Black Mountains beckon, so there's much to keep me occupied and enthralled. There are also new people to meet, new friends to make and new skills to learn. This blog is my personal record of that adventure. |
