Introduction	A group of us, Christians all, have made several trips to Guat with Compassion and have fallen in love with the country and its people. More importantly, we feel the Lord’s calling to be advocates for those in poverty in that country, particularly the children. Although still very much committed to Compassion’s ministry, both in Guat, and around the world, our vision has broadened. There are now several ministries in Guatemala, all focusing on children, that have found places in our hearts and that we wish to promote, support, and serve. In 2006, some of us organized ourselves into a group going by the name of Sirvientes de Cristo. We participated in the Compassion Tour, but after it was over we remained in Guat and spent some time with two other ministries: a Christian orphanage, Casa Para Niños Aleluya in San Bartolome and a small church based ministry, Children of the Lake in San Juan la Laguna. We returned from that trip with the needs of the children of Guatemala burning ever more deeply in our hearts. At this point, we are not quite sure where the Lord is leading, but we have felt driven to including others in this ministry – hence, Mission Guatemala, LLC has been born.
