| Introduction | Started out as a BE(Mech) from M.S.University, Vadodara 1n 1963. Then spent seven years at Larsen & Toubro's Powai Works, Mumbai.Moved through engineering entreprenurship, painting exclusive designs in acrylic colours on high fashion women's garments, motoring journalism and finally - after death of parents - switched to honorary social work for eye donation. Highlights with the Eye Bank Assocition of India were TV publicity shorts with Aishwarya and Amitabh/Jaya Bachan and the systematic shift to HCRP (Hosp.Cornea Retrieval Programs).Nine years later, till date, am doing what I always wanted to attempt - extending quality eye care to rural areas. The NGO I work with in Rajasthan is SOHARD (Social Action for Human Resource Development). And networking to address complex rural problems is the challenge. What kept me breathing so far were my monthly motoring columns for TOP GEAR magazine. These ended in Aug '07. So what's next.... who knows???.
