Introduction	After retiring, Lou convinced me to sail into the sunset.(How did he do that?) Initially, I agreed to go for a month, but realized it would take a month just to get to Florida. Then, it occurred to me that it would be winter if we stayed longer(br-r-r-r), and who wants to come back to New York in the winter? So, now we'll be waiting 'til warm weather to make the trip home. We'll be on our '94 Freedom 35. For you landlubbers, that's a 35 foot sailboat made in 1994 and the type of sailboat is a Freedom. Lou's been practicing for this trip since the age of 14, and I've changed my perspective for the cruise: instead of being a passenger, I'm now a sailor! I took a basic class and will be trying to be as much of a partner as I can with my limited experience. Keep posted for our adventures!
