| Introduction | I was born July 31, 1948 in St. John's Hospital in Iola, KS. I weighed 9 lbs. and 5 oz. I had black hair and blue eyes. I was the second child born to my father, Richard Wesley Lynch and the first to my mother Armilda Maxine Ballard Lynch. My parents were living with my grandparents, George Hoover Ballard and Nora Mae Johnson Ballard in Neosho Falls, KS. Needless to say, I was so excited to be out in the "real" world that I had no intention of sleeping that night. At least until my Grandpa Ballard took me to bed with him and I slept on his tummy! Wow! What a relief to Mommy! |
