| Introduction | I began journaling to remember special moments with my children I didn't have time to savor because my life was too busy. I imagined growing old one day, sitting on my porch, and finally having the time to relive these moments by reading them in my journals. I wanted to capture every detail so I could relive the feelings, sights, sounds, and smells. I didn't think of myself as a writer, just a woman who found happiness in the unexpected moments of life. Well, my life never slowed down, I'm not old (yet), I don't sit on a porch with endless free time, and my unexpected joyful moments never ceased; perhaps I notice them more. Thank you to my mother and sister for encouraging me to share my stories. Thank you to my husband for helping me bloom and choose to become spectacular. Thank you to my father for giving my such memorable stories to share. Thank you to my children for helping me make these memories. Thank you to God for showing me how to notice, how to hear, see, smell, and feel Your Love. |
