Interests	The work of a life is significant. I am overwhelmed how God has unfolded His plan and purposes over the years. Every phase of my life has some aspect of a humorous and joyful contradiction: “the wrong place, at the right time.” The work of a holy incongruity is perfect in the economy of God. First that He loved me, and then He called me, saved me and set my path on a wonderful life course. God’s call on my life is to be a witness for Him – boldly express His love and influence in Christ Jesus wherever I am. The verse that characterizes the desire of my life is Isaiah 43:10. My attention was first drawn to it as a college freshman in 1979 when I attended a mission’s conference. Since then, God has used this passage of Scripture to transform my understanding of His calling on my life, my role in communicating the Gospel to others and how, by knowing and believing Him, I will be transformed.
