| Introduction | Rose, 2kute was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia several years ago and has been suffering very badly because of it. She lives in Florida and the heat causes her fibro to flare up worse than usual. Some days it's so painful that even laying in bed hurts her. Ideally, she would like to move to a cooler climate, but unfortunately she cannot afford that as the state of Florida has denied her disability claim and she can't work due to her illness. Her husband makes what he can, but it's barely enough to cover her medications and treatments - which the doctors have told her she has reached the end to, there is nothing else left for her to try. Now, of all things, her central air has broken and is beyond repair. No one in the family can afford to buy her a new unit, but without it she may very well die. And what's more is that when winter finally does roll along, they will have no heater either. We are looking to see if anyone out there would be willing to help purchase her a new unit. We have already tried looking for governmental support, but to no avail, so any assistance would be great! |
