| Introduction | Hm...description...maybe someone else should write this part?... LDS Stay-at-Home (ha!) Homeschooling Mom (more like *car*schooling!) of 6 rather challenging, independant, bright little creatures called children -- who aren't all so little anymore! Keegan, our only boy, just turned 15 (May) and is nearly as tall as me (a half-inch to go!). Sequoia is 12 1/2, Kaelene jus turned 11 (June), McKenna has hit the half mark over 9, Kaisa is now 8, and Kira, "the Baby" turned 5 in Feb{sniff!} Hubby Erik travels on an irregular but consistent basis - two or three times in a month, then 2 or 3 months not at all -- not always with a lot of warning, but it means he has a great job that pays our nescessities:-) |
| Interests | My hobbies in recent years have grown -- serving on the Utah Home Education Association board (since June 2004) has widened my perception greatly. My interests now include conservative/party politics, Utah Legislation, and Constitution studies in addition to all the normal "homemaking" subjects - you know, all those crafty/ sewing/ baking things that I hardly have time for, yet still include in order to teach my children;-) Home schooling encompasses such a wide range of subjects (life!) it's hard to name everything I find fascinating:-) In preparation for my next life I'm petitioning for more hours in the night...(yes, I know most people would say "day", but that was *not* a typo...;-D |
