| Introduction | My artwork is done primarily on the pottery wheel. I have continued to learn and grow as a potter only through practice and repetition of different styles and forms. Working in the studio brings a sense of accomplishment and creativity to everyday living. Creating vessels through a process that can be changed, altered, and inventive is what attracts me to clay. Disassembling my pottery allows me to see the process in reverse. Attempting to find form from deconstruction offers more aesthetic possibilities. Whether my work serves as visual stimulation in a home for decoration or an everyday drinking vessel, I hope that it conveys a sense of enjoyment to the user. |
