Introduction	Hello! Welcome to my blog! As an elementary school teacher I am in the "mode" of teaching young readers and writers NOT to just read and write but to LIVE as readers and writers! Therefore, as a way to "practice what I preach" I started this blog as a way of showing them how I, too, live as a reader and writer. This blog serves as my online version of a writer's journal. Interests	All things fun and exciting!
Favorite music	Like many people, my taste in music is entirely dependent on my mood. As I am filling this box I am listening to Miles Davis, but on any given day I may go through several genres of music.
Favorite books	WAY too many to list! Dreams of travel have consumed my thoughts lately so I seem to be reading lots of travel books and travel memoirs lately. Oh how I would love to go to Italy! TODAY!
