| Introduction | I write about the pet-centered culture of Southern California, from lizards to horses, especially the pets of Studio City. I also look for stories about Studio City's resources and special upcoming events. I teach English and History in the Tech Academy of a local middle school in North Hollywood. Teaching writing also extends to teaching night and adult courses, coaching and editing dramatic script writing projects. I am currently mid-way through a book project about the dramatic writing process, and I am being paid a small pittance to develop a musical about an under-celebrated, great figure in American letters and literature. |

| Favorite music | The usual, a lot of unusual. I love the rhythms of the ocean waves, crickets, dogs dreaming, and The Kinks. |
