| Introduction | Soy una fotógrafa por más de 30 años. Comencé en 1976. Mi trayecto de la fotografía toma auge cuando me las pasaba fotografiando los conciertos de la “Fania All Stars” en el Madison Square Garden en Nueva York. Actualmente estoy trabajando imágenes de mujeres y el tema de la violencia doméstica porque quiero darle enfoque a este mal social que nos sigue afectando. Las imágenes que tomo tienen en mente una comunicación visual sobre estos problemas que estamos viviendo actualmente. I am a photographer for over 30 years. I started in 1976. My photographic journey takes rise when I started backstage photography at the concerts of the "Fania All Stars" at the Madison Square Garden in New York. I am currently working on images of women and those issues involving domestic violence and women issues in general. I believe it is because I want to approach this social evil that still affects us. The pictures I take have in mind a visual communication on these same social problems we are currently experiencing. |

| Favorite Movies | Terms of Endearment, Its a Wonderful Life, the Wizard of OZ... the Goonies. Raiders of the Lost Arch...my kind of movies. |
| Favorite Music | La percusion, rumba, guaguanco, música pop y de nueva canción. Me encantan, Gema y Pavel - cubanos y el Grupo Guardabaranco, de Nicaracua; entre otros grupos y generos musicales, en especial la BOMBA Puertorriqueña, I love Gema & Pavel a contemporary cuban group and Guardabaranco from Nicaragua. All in all, I love all kinds of music, mostly the "Bomba" which derives from our African culture. |
