Introduction	Mr. Edward William Ruffin was one who loved and trusted God and received wonderful blessings that the Lord had prepared for him. God so prepared the birth of a gentle giant October 4, 1944, in El Dorado Arkansas. He worshiped and served a living Savior; He loved and supported his family, and he is cherished and fondly remembered by his wife of 36 years Jennifer L. Ruffin, His children Ivy Edina Ruffin, Ianne Edrin Ruffin Smith and Edward Iles Ruffin, his brothers and sisters, extended family, friends and neighbors. Edward was the fourth of nine children born to the parentage of Mr. William Edward Ruffin, Sr. and Mrs. Jewel Watts Ruffin who preceded him in death. To those who knew and loved him, he was a man who would put his needs ahead of others, who cherished his family and friends and could make you smile regardless of how you were feeling. He loved the Lord and always reminded those around him to trust in God first. There are not enough words to describe how much he is missed but he is remembered forever as a man with a big heart and an endless spirit of kindness.
