| Introduction | There are many able and extraordinary writers among Kashmiri Hindus who have done a wonderful job of documenting our exodus and the life in exile. So, what am i doing? Well, I am attempting to document the stories of resilience and fortitude, courage and never say die attitude, the very reasons why this community could survive the seventh exodus inflicted upon them. We not just survived and lived on but excelled too. With our hard work and integrity we have started to make a mark in many fields. Once completely homeless, rootless and fighting for mere survival, the contribution of this community to country and humanity is being recognized now. This is no mean feat. However, the community continues to be rootless. Nevertheless, it is very important to document these stories somewhere so that our posterity is well aware of what we went through. These stories can also be source of inspiration for one and all. I have written some plays in the past namely Chopayer Yee Gaash, Ateet Ke Sakshi, Gaad Bateh and Ek Aur Birbal. I would continue to write plays but I hope to reach wider audience through this blog. The objective being only one - to tell the world about - The Resilient Tribe |
