Introduction	I am a fifth grade teacher at Calhoun Academy of the Arts in Anderson School District 5 in Anderson, SC. I am a National Board Certified Teacher with a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with a Specialization in Integrated Teaching Through the Arts. I work with the best fifth grade team on the planet. Calhoun is not just a place to come to work, it is a part of my FAMILY and LIFE! Teaching is truly my calling in life. I use music, drama and dance to energize my students and to motivate them to learn. I follow many of Ron Clark's methods and use his book The Essential 55 to teach manners and life skills to my students.
