Favorite books	Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, A Spell of Winter by Helen Dunmore, all Jilly Cooper books, A Room with a View and A Passage to India by E M Forster, Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte, and for inspiration to keep going The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. I also love reading anything by Rose Tremain.

You've broken up with your old band and are about to release your first solo album. Please write the liner notes:

To take the peel off an apple in one go, you just start at one end and cut round the apple to end up with a spiral of skin. One of my party tricks!
