| Introduction | My name is Lauren, RD (registered dietitian). I am currently working for a supplemental nutrition program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC!). I love my job. I get to nutrition counsel pregnant women, I get to see (and hold, and speak in high-pitched voices to) babies every day and make sure they're growing healthy, and I get to teach nutrition to children up to age 5. As the WIC program manager of my county, and the one registered dietitian, I have a lot of people in my hands. In my spare time, I have a raging passion for learning, and teaching others how nutrition can change lives. Interested? Read me out. I bet I can change your life :) |
