| Introduction | Life is precious. Freedom is valuable and costly. I believe that the government should perform a simple job: to protect her citizens and give them opportunities for personal success. This includes defending against foreign powers, supporting the rule of law for orderly conduct, and protection of individual rights as originally defined in the Declaration of Independence. Many people believe the government should be a safety net. Others believe that criminals have more rights than victims. And yet others will do anything to gain power. Pragmolitics is my attempt to speak about topics that are close to my heart. Often, this is politics, sometimes it is technology, and maybe some personal issues. In all cases, I aim to be pragmatic and measured with my reasoning and words. |
