I'm so glad you stopped by to visit ~ I'm really a pretty boring person, I live a quiet life in scenic Alaska, in a lovely, vintage, craftsman home I share with my husband, three cats, and a beautiful horse. I love to make things, and all spare minutes are directed to the creative process. I knit, crochet and sew for myself and my home, I putter in a woodsy garden, scrap pages of special events and family milestones, take pictures my art, kitties, home, my travels. I incorporate vintage items into just about everything, passionate about crafting mixed media artifacts from fabric, paper, metal and bits of odds and ends. I decorate my nest. I bake when I can from my grandmother's recipe book. I've been an artist all my life, but my ability to express this gift didn't really take flight until I was all grown up. With the rise of technology, digital cameras, Photoshop, blogging, vintage and mixed media art , I feel like I finally found my voice. I teach art classes when I can. |
