| Introduction | As a cum laude graduate from Mercy College with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems and a Master’s degree in Special Education, I have over 20 years of experience in the fields of technology and education covering a wide range of disciplines including but not limited to, science, biology, early childhood development, sociology, psychology, computer graphics and systems integration. Presently I work as a New York City Special Education Teacher with a specialty in science. After school I coach for the school’s poetry workshop and in 2009 I published my first book of poetry entitled “Deep Thoughts”, which also includes my memoir. I’ve always been a fan of intelligent science fiction, both written and on film that use believable science. A few of my favorite writers are Ken Follett, Michael Crichton, Nancy Farmer, and James Patterson. |
