If you were a pirate, how would you avoid laughing when saying 'poop deck'?

"Is the poop deck really what I think it is?" "Hehehehe. Promote that man!" If I were a pirate that would be AWESOME. And I would laugh even harder because every time someone says "poop deck," I think of the Simpsons quote above. I would be a terrible pirate.
