| Interests | Retired Commercial Rod & Reel Fisherman. Turned Sport Fishing Charter Boat Captain. Apprenticed from 9-13 yrs. of age on a Montauk based charter boat. Was a mate from age 14 through 17. Graduated Chapman School of Seamanship and became a licensed Captain at 18. Ran a private boat for 2 yrs. fishing the North East Canyons, before buying a boat custom designed specifically for the rod & reel tuna fishery. I did this for 8 yrs. Then purchased a 100 ton commercial vessel and fished from Nova Scotia to the Carolinas and even the Grand Banks for 10 yrs. I have fished the Atlantic, Pacific, Gulf, Caribbean, Mediteranian, Baltic and North Sea. 3 years ago I purchased "Discretion" and moved to Key West, Florida full time. When not Sport Fishing for a living I enjoy studying different techniques used world wide. |
