Introduction	I retired from the rat race (senior manager in a corporate telecoms services company) in 2001 and now live in the lovely Eden Valley, formerly in Westmorland but now known as Cumbria. I've been a radio amateur for more than fifty years with the call sign G3WGV and I am a keen Morse Code (CW) operator. In 2002 I founded the Summits on the Air programme and am its President. Shortly after I retired I took up flying and logged well over 1000 hours total flying time until health issues intervened. Other interests include mountaineering, electronics, computer programming and classical music, especially the pipe organ, which I play (badly).
