Introduction	Born into a family of healers, I chose the physician's path and specialized in general surgery because my hands are skillful and just have to get in the mix and straighten things out. I worked with a surgeon in the summer of 1958 who showed me that it was possible to enter a human body as one would enter a temple. I knew then that surgery was right for me. It would be in the 1970's that the demands for listening skills were high. I met my Self coming up the stairs of life in 1975 as I was going down, and turned to climb with him as high and far as we can go together on the trail of this life....
