Introduction	I live in a 1923 Bungalow that was built to allow for green living. No, that is not what they were thinking back then or were they? Large open rooms, windows and doors placed for maximum cross ventilation and light, exposed rafters, wide porches. Moving forward, I think that it is important to return to the concepts that brought about the bungalow design. I started going down the 'Go Green' path when I took a hard look at our electric bills last year. Why on earth are we paying such high prices for electricity when we live in the 'Sunshine State'? With the amount of sun that directly hits our house, we should be selling solar energy to our neighbors. So here I am a year later still wondering why the electric bills are so high. Time to change that and a few other things as well.
