| Introduction | French Wargame Holidays. Is conducted in the 17th C historic Maison particular. l’Hotel de Hercé, was built by the Count de Hercé in the late 1690s. Much of the interior is original and we are restoring the 1200sqm house it to its former glory. We conduct Wargame Holidays based on French History and offer guided cultural and battlefield tours. Offering our clients the unique opportunity to Walk the Battlefield in the morning, and Wargame it in the afternoon © Our business offers a unique opportunity for both partners to visit, as the Maison offers a relaxing stay, large private garden, great shopping and great food in the upper Loire. I both have a fascination with History, a lifelong wargamer and also historical re-enactment. My main periods of interest are the Roman Empire, Sassanid empire, Dark age Western Europe, Norman invasions of France and England, early medieval France and England, Heraldry and fealty High medieval , late 17th, 18th 19th century France and Napoleonic German states, also Western Europe WW2 and some modern conflicts. |

My biggest collection is Napoleonics, Ww2 Ancients, Medievals renaissance , about 9000 painted miniatures with an embarrassing pile of unpainted.
