Occupation | English professor/Navy wife/ Mother/ Writer |
Introduction | I've been called an over-achiever, but I just have big dreams and always set new goals for myself. Becoming an English professor was the first big dream/goal and it took a lot of work, but I love what I do. I like to spend time with my family/friends, read, write, write, write, sing karaoke and play dance central on xbox. I grew up all over the place because my dad was in the Air Force, and still don't have a hometown because my husband is in the Navy. We are always moving, but I kind of love it. I'm half Black and half Native American, which can be fun, interesting, and really confusing (hence the blog). |
Interests | I love watching documentaries about anything. They're so much different than reality tv. There is always this long journey of struggle and sadness, which always ends with hope. I also have fun writing creative fiction stories, especially for children and young adults. |
