| Introduction | I am an at home mom with three young children. I quit my job as a seventh grade English teacher after the birth of my second child and do some substitute teaching to supplement our income (my husband is a seventh grade English teacher, too). I have inherited an addiction gene for garage saling and loving vintage stuff. My mother sold dolls and bears she sewed when I was a kid - and made clothing for us. Now she sells things she finds at estate sales and orders wholesale at a coop. Apparently, it's in my blood. I feel like I have about a million creative ideas inside right now, and I am trying to organize them and let them out. I am most definitely a novice when it comes to sewing, and I am hoping to learn to knit (again - the first time didn't take). I am a junkie for the sewing blogs out there. |
