| Introduction | Messy. Fun. Unexpected. Different. Satisfying. Liberating. These words both express and explain why an art curriculum matters and why I enjoy teaching it. Art serves as a different way of reaching students that may think outside of the box or don’t fit inside a box at all. Art provides a voice to those that may find words difficult and helps others that may find it easier to learn with their hands and eyes. This is my fifth year teaching art at J.J. Flynn Elementary School and I'm excited to share our classroom with you. |
