| Introduction | I'm Doug Vincent, and for over 40 years, I've been behind the mic — first in radio, where I spent decades on the air and in commercial production, and now in the world of voiceover. My journey into audio began in broadcasting and evolved naturally into producing on-hold messages, narrations for product videos, phone system prompts, and more. Whether it's a warm, friendly tone or something with a bit more edge, I bring a wide range of delivery styles to each project I voice. But voice work is just one part of my story. As a polio survivor and passionate advocate for the disability community, I launched Walk and Roll Live – Disability Stories, a weekly podcast dedicated to uplifting the voices of individuals living with disabilities. Through storytelling, advocacy, and conversation, the show aims to break down barriers, challenge misconceptions, and celebrate the resilience of the human spirit. Disability Voice is an extension of that mission — a place where lived experience meets professional voice, and where the stories of our community come to life through insight, honesty, and connection. Thanks for stopping by — and I hope you’ll walk and roll with me. |
