| Introduction | I’m a Cambridge based artist and published children’s book author/Illustrator. I take private and commercial commissions. As an author I’m interested in relationship between image and text on the page. As and artist I primarily see myself as a draughtsman and painter. My work is mainly figurative and I use a variety of mediums and techniques. My aim is to create atmosphere and narrative in my illustrations. My inspiration can come from my surroundings, toys, retro cartoons, Classic fables/tales and comics. I have produced work for picture books, animation, web games, CD covers, posters, prints, educational materials, greetings cards, portraits/caricatures and storyboard/character design. |
