| Introduction | All of life is a sociology experiment, and I'll be damned if I intend to sit it out in the control group. I've been a movie freak since my first memories of my father throwing all the mattresses in the house onto the floor so the entire family could stay up lae eating Marathon bars (now efunct) and drinking Cherry-ola Cola (now defunct) to watch some of his favorite films--from Guys and Dolls to From Here to Eternity. I spent a great part of my career as an entertainment journalist and film critic for a chain of papers in western Illinois, where I had the unique experience of interviewing everyone from Francis Ford Coppola to John Travolta to James Cameron to Matt Damon. I know work as the director of communications (marketing and public relations) for the oldest music festival in North America. Through it all I write screenplays. Lately I've been working with Richard Walter of UCLA, who seems to appreciate my work; I've had one no-budget film made and currently have two different comedies in circulation -- "Dago Tease" and "Sex, Violence and Gratuitous Donuts." |
