| Introduction | I am the middle child from a family of five children. We grew up with parents that believed in teaching us good moral values and respect. We were to not only respect others but to respect who we are as individuals. Dad and mom taught us how to live using our own resources. We sometimes lived without modern conveniences and at times in brand new homes. Our parents wanted us to know how to survive in good times as well as bad. That is what I want to share with others. I want to provide helpful hints, tips, money saving ideas, and of course some good old fashioned down home recipes from grandma's kitchen. I also want to share a little about my daily life living here on my grandpa's southern Indiana farm. |
