| Introduction | My name is Whitney Kaye Nieto, born and raised California girl. I grew up in San Jose but moved to San Diego in June 2011, then made my way north to Long Beach a few months later. I am a senior at Cal State Long Beach, majoring in Journalism and minoring in Marketing. I'm not quite sure what I want to do as a career, but I do know I want to be able to incorporate my interests and love for traveling into something I will be successful in. Oh, and I need to live by the beach. I recently began a journey towards a healthier lifestyle by eating only clean, unprocessed foods and exercising regularly. It has always been a challenge for me; I've always said I was a fat girl trapped in a skinny girl's body. But by making small changes here and there, eating better, working out regularly and not letting the fat kid inside win--every time--I feel I'm finally on my way to being a better version of myself. |
