| Introduction | After my second child was born, I exchanged my well-paying office job for stacks of diapers, dirty dishes, and a steady diet of Thomas the Train. Every time I trip over scattered toys, fold another load of laundry, and hunt for a missing toddler shoe, I rejoice. Proverbs 31:31 says of the virtuous wife, "Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her own works praise her in the gates." Each day I spend in this garden called "Motherhood" is an opportunity to plant fruit for an eternal harvest. What better way to pour out my life, than into the future of the children I love. |
