| Introduction | Hello there! My name is Jessica. From the outside looking in, I imagine my life looks like it's probably chaotic, over the top, like I do too much, or sometimes too little. But I suppose that's because with four kids five and under, life is a little chaotic, a little over the top, sometimes I over commit and sometimes we simply just need to be home! But when we look at others lives I suppose it isn't as simple as what we can see. There is so much more than meets the eye. As my children grow I find all the time I refer to myself as being simply, realistic. We tend to "go with the flow" if you will. I don't however mean that we go with whatever cultural flow comes about. In fact, perhaps we are swimming up stream in some ways. Rather, I mean that we aren't the ones to stress over the unimportant, but try to remember what we truly value. The little lives that have been entrusted to us are more important than the "perfection" that we would sometimes like our lives to be. My constant prayer is that I would have eyes to see how beautiful my home truly is. That in the mess, in the often chaotic day to day, I would stop and appreciate my precious family. |
