| Introduction | I am a 46 yr old woman living in Brighton uk. I am 'married' but live alone because I am a fuck up and need alot of space to just be a fuck up , and to write. I have an 8 yr old boy with aspergers who shines like the sun . Recently I have taken to just sitting there watching him sleep . He's so beautiful , and I feel a deep shame at the unworthiness of how Ive spent most of my life , chasing after worthless things , ghosts, illusions , and suddenly i woke up middle aged , wanting life more than anything , to be able to see my son grow , be there for him . Just to be . I cant cope with much socialising etc but I do alot of climate change work , mainly I find ways to encourage people to take on the realities of climate change , so they feel more empowered to act in whatever way . I have a band Kicked dogs Love Song and Im writing a book , three yrs so far , reckon two to go . |
