| Introduction | I love making creations from nature! I make concrete leaf castings from real leaves:) I take pride in my work as everything is handmade. My leaves are specially selected from the many choices on my 1 acre of treed property each leaf having it's own individuality, I then pat my concrete mixture onto the leaf and then wait several days until it is dry. The next step is exciting as I carefully remove the leaf from the concrete casting and see the work of art that nature has left behind, no two ever to be exactly alike!! Then the painting is so fun as my mind decides what each leaves future of color will hold. NATURES GLORY preserved forever and waiting to be placed in your home or yard:) I also make leaf necklaces, earrings and dragonfly/butterfly sculptures using leaves for the wings:) |
