Introduction	I am the general music and chorus teacher at Franklin-Simpson Middle School. I am married to Byron Lucas, the kindest, most wonderful man I know. I am the mother of two beautiful boys--Brighton is 2 1/2 years and Micah is 8 1/2 months. I love my family and I love my profession. I am blessed beyond imagination.
Interests	Music (playing, listening, dancing to...), playing games (board & card, that is), cuddling on the couch and watching movies or Friends for the billionth time, spending time with family and friends when we get the chance!

Favorite music	Shane & Shane, Worship from Sojourn Community Church in Louisville, Steven Curtis Chapman, Third Day, Michael W. Smith, Charlie Hall, Counting Crows, Coldplay, Michael Jackson (have to admit, his music still rocks!), 80's and 90's music (we've got some great mix CD's, courtesy of DHigh), Berlioz, John Rutter, Ingrid Michaelson...
Favorite books	To Kill a Mockingbird, anything by Roald Dahl (The BFG, The Witches, Matilda), anything by Elisabeth Elliott (Passion & Purity, Journal of Jim Elliott, Keep a Quiet Heart), The Sickness Unto Death (on the 3rd read, Kierkegaard is pretty awesome)...
