| Introduction | Hello ! I grew up in a suburb of Detroit with a loving family. I moved to South Florida when I was 19 where I went to the beach, worked my way thorough college, got married, had my daughter and snorekeled and canoed and kayaked as much as I could. I was fortunate to work in my field through college monitoring nesting sea turtles and working at a native plant nursery. My daughter and I moved to Michigan in 1999 to be with my family and I have worked as a Horticulture and Natural Resources educator. Still love the tropics and the ocean and thats how I went to Vieques for my 50th birthday and fell in love with the place and the people. I feel they made a great sacrifice having their home be a bombing test range for 60 years for the US and would like to help restore the island. |
