Interests a travel addict I am inspired by foreign/strange places: my writing is an exploration of lost or forgotten continents, real or imaginary. Music fuels me on and enables my writer's consciousness to rise and fly around the room. Singing in a choir, Yoga, tennis and Golf keep me sane.
Favorite Movies TV and Cinema addict, from Hitchcock to Tarantino, I want to be told a story, to swim in beautiful scenery, mysterious atmospheres.
Favorite Music Mozart, Beethoven, Gershwin, Chopin, Grieg, Tchaïkovsky lift me to hidden realms. Arcade Fire, Frank Zappa, Artic Monkeys, Jethro Tull, David Bowie get me going. Alela Diane, Andrew Lloyd Weber, Supertramp, Angus and Julia Stone, Edth Piaf make me dream melancholy.
Favorite Books A never-ending list of authors keep me writing, from Shakespeare to Dickens, from Margaret Atwood, Pat Barker to Hilary Mantle and Alexander Mc Call Smith, from A.S. Byatt to André Brink...From Sylvia Plath to Billy Collins, From Tennyson to Derek Walcott.

Which is more important to you and why: flexibility or expandability?

flexibility. Adapt to the world because it will never adapt to you. Endeavour to change it for the better if you can !
