| Introduction | I am a Landscape Architect with a passion for oil painting. I primarily paint landscapes and small daily still life oil paintings. In my landscapes I try to convey "a sense of place" looking to what makes a place unique and memorable. I find inspiration in the familiar, a building, a road, or elements of the natural environment. I am drawn to scenes with dramatic light and color, painting plein air as often as possible. In my small daily oil paintings, I often include memorable objects from the past. |
